Yesterday, I arrived at school, greeted by a five foot tall kangaroo at my classroom door. Annoyed that the sight of the creature had caused me to spill my coffee, I was also intrigued...
Along with a few other teachers at school, we ushered the poor thing up to the oval and called a lockdown.
The kids were all safe and sound, away from the frightened 'roo, and until the ranger arrived, Skippy stayed put on the school oval. Eventually, the rangers safely captured the kangaroo and took it away.
Somehow though, a different story evolved. Thismorning, a caller by the name of 'Billy' called Neil Mitchell on 3AW Breakfast Radio to report what 'definitely happened' at our school.
Check out the video below. The camera work is a bit shaky, but it is footage of the kangaroo in the distance as it hopped around on our school oval. More important is the audio that accompanies the footage.
